Where do items go that are lost forever? We will probably never know and that can be a frustration for us. Was it ourselves who lost the items or did someone take them? We can spend considerable time trying to locate a mislaid item and considerable emotion if it is something like a door key that we need right now. Well, not finding something can also be a cause for celebration, and that is flabby, ugly, unwanted pounds.
I agree wholeheartedly with you as the car keys can definitely be a big pain when you need transportation right now, however there is something that if you lose it shouldn’t give you a care in the world. I am talking here about those extra pounds that you really need to shed. Now if you lose those, who is going to go into a tail spin trying to find them? Certainly not me, and hopefully not you.
This losing weight business is serious stuff. Maybe this isn’t the first time you have tried to shed those ugly rolls of fat and maybe you have found those same pounds soon after a huge effort to get rid of them. Do not be tempted to see if they are just pretending to go away. Banish the offenders without another thought. Gone is gone.
It is not an easy task for most of us whether we are a few pounds over or a lot. Food is crucial to our survival and unfortunately the goodies but baddies are everywhere and temptation is hard to master especially when we see others enjoying what we like with no adverse effects at all. Hard. But we are what we are and knowing what and how will aid us in this journey to slimdom will give comfort in those times of temptation.
A workout in the gym, laps of the swimming pool, a cross country run or a jog in the park are all fine places to lose something and that something is fat. Losing this time is a triumph of will and determination and something to brag about. I lost and I’m not going to even try to find out where it all went.
